Organizing For Action Has Affordable Care Act Signups Tuesday

Local Organizing For Action volunteers will be taking part in a national day of action on Tuesday to help community members get enrolled in the Affordable Care Act.  

The event will be held at the Dodson Avenue COmmunity Health Center at 12:15 with remarks by Katherlyn Geter, the enrollment navigator from the Erlanger Health Systems ACA Enrollment Program, followed by a neighborhood canvass of the Avondale community as OFA volunteers knock on doors to encourage people in the community to sign up for the Affordable Care Act. 

Enrollment in the marketplaces extends through March, but for those who want coverage to start on March 1, they need to sign up by Feb. 15.
