Sherry Coffelt Layne, 59, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Rosa Nell Brewer Coffelt; and brother, Bruce Coffelt.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Layne, of Whitwell; daughter, Meagan (Shane); son, Tripp (Tiffany); grandson, Joe Layne; sisters, Shelia (Don) Stewart and Shasta (Scott) Floyd; brothers, Danny (Karen) Coffelt and Lebron (Stacy) Coffelt; father and mother-in-law, Gerald and Beulah Layne; brothers-in-law, Garry (Gina) Layne, Barry (Lisa) Layne and Eddie Layne; sister-in-law, Gail Coffelt; several nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers, Lisa Brown and Trinity Layne; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. CST Saturday, February 15, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Coffelt officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Friday, February 14 and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, February 15 at the Ewton Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sequatchie County Cancer Support Network or St. Jude Children's Research Program.
