Dannie L. Elleman, 66, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Monday February 3, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Red Bank.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Elleman; brother, Stanley Elleman; and grandson, Jonathan Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Elleman; two daughters, Frances Hartman, Whitwell and Elizabeth King, South Pittsburg; five sons, Clyde Carter, Jasper, Carlos Carter, Chattanooga, Robert, Leslie and Johnny Carter all of Whitwell; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Sheba Knabenshue, Jasper; brother Johnny Elleman, Whitwell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6 at 1 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, February 5 from 4-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
