Dr. Rufus Morgan Art Show And Sale Benefits Local Schools

  • Friday, March 14, 2014

An Art Show and Sale with paintings by the late Rufus S. Morgan, M.D., will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the Mountain Arts Community Center.

There will also be a selection of work from K-12 students and International Baccalaureate on display.

The landscape paintings of Dr. Morgan reflect a lifetime spent in Chattanooga and the Sequatchie Valley as an outdoorsman, fisherman and hunter.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Mountain Education Foundation and provide support for visual and performing art programs in the Signal Mountain Public School system.
