Hester Hits Beck On Traffic Camera Vote

  • Monday, March 3, 2014

District 5 County Commission candidate Isiah Hester was critical of incumbent Greg Beck for his lone vote in support of use of traffic cameras by the sheriff's office.

He said, “I’m glad to see that eight of the commissioners responded to their constituents’ outcry by voting accordingly. Unfortunately, the current commissioner from District 5 did not have the same response. This highlights Mr. Beck’s shortcomings as a representative for the citizens of District 5.

"This district deserves a commissioner who will seriously consider the wishes of the citizens of District 5 before voting.

The people want a commissioner who is dedicated to improving quality of life for everyone in District 5. If elected, I will be that person, the commissioner that District 5 wants and deserves.”
