Governor Haslam And CNN Hero Of The Year To Kick Off Great American Cleanup In Tennessee

Keep Tennessee Beautiful and the Heritage Foundation will hold a special event on Friday, to kick off the 2014 Great American Cleanup in Tennessee. CNN’s 2013 Hero of the Year Chad Pregracke, who has dedicated his life to cleaning up the Mississippi River and other waterways, will be the keynote speaker at Friday’s event.

Governor Bill Haslam will also be there to designate March as Keep Tennessee Beautiful Month. 

 

Friday’s event will take place at 7:30 a.m., at the Franklin Theatre at 419 Main Street in downtown Franklin. The event is expected to last approximately an hour and a half.
