Georgia Carol Gill, 67, of Trion, Georgia, died on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Gill was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Trion, daughter of the late James Walter Gill and Kathrine Henderson Gill. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Gill is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Davonna Kinsey; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy “Sissy” and Tim Davis, Virginia Lively; sister-in-law, Reba Gill; grandchildren, Ashlee Kinsey, Allison Kinsey, Krisanna Rose Kinsey, Brianna Coppinger, and Matthew Bean. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Ms. Gill will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chris Holman and Reverend Kevin Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chris Gill, Stacy Gill, Brian Gill, Scott Coley, Rusty Gill, and Jeff Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be J. R. Brown, Jonathan Crain, Allen Simpson, and Thomas Gill.
Ms. Gill will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
