Donald Ray Landen, Sr., 63, of Tunnel Hill, GA, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Heritage Healthcare in Ft. Oglethorpe.
He was preceded in death by father, James Landen; step-father, Jesse Bryson; mother, Juanita Bryson; and a brother, Larry Landen.
Mr. Landen was a member of Nellie Head Memorial Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Landen of the residence; sons & daughters-in-law, Rev. Donald & Heather Landen of Cleveland, GA and Joshua & Monica Landen of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers & sisters-in-law, Steve & Sandra Landen of Rocky Face, David Landen of Ft. Oglethorpe, Perry & Vickie Bryson and Terry & Joy Bryson, all of Tunnel Hill; and grandchildren, Wesley Landen, Annelise Landen, Simon Landen and Andrew Landen.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Landen will be held Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Killian and Rev. Don Landen officiating. Burial will be in Gordy Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 21 from 5-8 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Nellie Head Baptist Youth Ministry or Ross Woods Adult Day Services.
