Habitat For Humanity To Break Ground On 1st Home Built In The Villages At Alton Park

The groundbreaking of the first Habitat home built in the Villages at Alton Park located in Chattanooga’s Southside will take place on Saturday, at 1 p.m.

The construction of this home was made possible with funding provided by the City of Chattanooga’s Department of Economic and Community Development.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga is committed to the Southside as the nonprofit and is planning to build several three-bedroom, two-bath homes in the coming years. Construction of the first Habitat home is expected to be completed by August – weather permitting.

The groundbreaking will be at 3331 Hughes Ave.
