Participate In The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

  • Wednesday, May 7, 2014

I would like to encourage everyone to participate in the “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive, this Saturday, May 10.  Each year our letter carriers make it easy for you to donate non-perishable food for our neighbors in need.  All you have to do is put a bag of non-perishable food at your mailbox, and they will pick it up on Saturday.

This is a national program, so wherever you live, the letter carrier will make sure the food goes to their local food bank.

As we approach the summer months, the Food Bank’s supplies tend to run low, so now is a great time to help.  I hope you’ll join me in helping stamp out hunger, at your very own mailbox this Saturday.  Please tell your neighbors about it, too.
