  • Monday, June 16, 2014

Cadence Coffee Company, after two and a half years at Patten Parkway, is moving to the historic McConnell Building on East 7th Street.

Shannon Greer, one of the owners, said the firm may be open as soon as Tuesday at the new site.

He said there are plans to add catering and delivery operations now that the company is closer to many downtown businesses.

There is also an opportunity for expansion at the site should the need arise.

The firm now has five employees.

The other partner is Brian Turner.

Mike McGauley, owner of the building, said a new entrance to the second floor is being built to the right of the new coffee shop.
