  • Monday, June 9, 2014

The Planning Commission on Monday recommended approval for a bed and breakfast inn on their property on Gunbarrel Road at Elaine Circle.

Wallace and Nancy Braud plan to live over a new garage to be attached to the bed and breakfast.

Ms. Braud said the initial plans called for five bedrooms, but it has been decided to move to six bedrooms.

She said the couple are avid gardeners using native plants and will incorporate local food into the menu at the facility.

Ms. Braud said an English garden and a library will be included.

She said, "It will be a serene place."

The couple own 5.42 acres.
