State Junior Team Tennis Here This Weekend

Five hundred junior tennis players in age groups from 8-and-under to 18-and-under from across the state will descend on Chattanooga this weekend for three days of accurate overheads, crisp half volleys and solid serves for the State Junior Team Tennis Championship.

Beginning with pool play on Friday as well as a players party at the Chattanooga Lookouts game (Fireworks Nite), co-ed teams in varous age groups will play at UTC, GPS, Baylor, Rivermont Park and the Champions Club. The finals in each age division will be played Sunday at The Champions Club beginning at 8 a.m.

The format for each match is one girls singles and doubles, one boys singles and doubles and one co-ed match.
