Irene Alexander
Irene B. Alexander, 86, of Rossville, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Alexander was a longtime member of Wallaceville Baptist Church and retired from Avondale Upholstery following several years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.G. Alexander, sons, Terry and Randall Alexander, sister, Inez Blanks, and brother, Billy Webb.
She is survived by her sons, Steve and Mark Alexander; daughters-in-law, Robbie Alexander and Vicki Springfield; sisters, Sarah Shaw and Edna Earl Layne; grandchildren, Shane and Tesha Alexander, Matthew and Shana Alexander; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Mary Beth and Sydney; and her neighbor, Scottie.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 22, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Charles Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
