Ruth Brannon, 88, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at her home.
She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a caregiver for family and anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Boss” Smith and Mary Floyd Smith; husband, Sam Brannon; and siblings, Clarice Floyd and L.A. Smith.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Stacey Adams and husband, Michael of Cleveland, Matthew Cheek of Cleveland, Crystal Webb and husband, Joseph of Cleveland and Joshua Wiseman and wife, April of Madisonville; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ida Mae Hitson, Caroll “Red” Smith and wife, Sue and Harold Smith and wife Maybelle, all of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 22, at Ironsburg Cemetery in Monroe County.
Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 21 at the Fike Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
