Geneva Etheridge Owens, 81, of Dalton, GA, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Annie Bearden Etheridge; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Owens; and sister, Mary Hayes.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Geneva is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and Tim Warnix of Dalton; granddaughters, Haley and Justin Guinn of Dalton and Brandy and Craig Dunn of Dalton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and John Brooker of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Madalyn and Samuel Dunn and Lena Guinn; and nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday, August 20 in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Amspaugh officiating.
Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave. Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.
