Braman Leads GPS Runners At Berry Invitational

Murfee Jones Finishes Second For Bruisers In 20:17

Carley Braman finished 26th overall with a time of 19 minutes, 30 seconds to lead the GPS cross country team to a 12th-place finish at the Clara Bowl Invitational cross country meet at Berry College in Rome, Ga. Saturday morning.

Harrison was the team winner with 87 points while Dunwoody was second with 149 and Lovett third with 158.

The Bruisers had 312 points for 12th while Notre Dame had 924 and finished 30th out of the 35-team field.

Other GPS results included Murfee Jones in 52nd with a time of 20:17, Tori Tomokane-Verville 59th in 20:27 and Margaret Martin 77th in 20:52.

Lea Mulligan had a time of 21:35, which netted 118th place, while Mary Margaret Arrowsmith was 133rd in 21:50 and Carter Dickinson 144th in 21:59.
