For the second consecutive year, SouthEast Bank and Lee University have selected students for a scholarship program called the SouthEast Bank Scholar Award. This scholarship will provide each student with $7,000 in the 2014-2015 school year to offset the cost of tuition and assist in accomplishing academic and personal goals.
Recipients of the SouthEast Bank Scholars across the state include a group of students from Tennessee chosen by participating post-secondary institutions for their character and academic commitment.
This year’s recipients at Lee are Janna Crisp, a sophomore from Knoxville; Elliot Smith, a freshman from Kingston Springs, Tenn.; and Hannah Stott, a junior from Maryville, Tenn.

In addition to meeting the minimum criteria of achieving a 3.25 high school grade point average or a 23 ACT score, students who are awarded this distinct honor have also demonstrated financial need and community involvement.
