James Michael “Mic” Jay, 65, of Ringgold, Georgia died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, he was a former employee of Volunteer Pest Control where he worked for 40 years and attended Ringgold Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Ruth Bowman Jay.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Jay of Daytona Beach, Fl.; two sisters, Naomi (Randall) Watkins of Ringgold, and Suzy (Paul) Campbell of Oxford, Ms.; grandson, Thomas Jay, of Ringgold, and one niece.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Pat Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 4-8 p.m., and Friday until funeral time at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
