Josh Painter, 24, of Tunnel Hill, GA, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 in a work related accident.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ruffin Crews Harrod and Alfred Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Holly Painter; three sons, Damien Long, Hunter Wayne Painter and Jace Painter, all of Dalton; parents, Tony Painter and Heather Fisher, both of Chatsworth; one sister, Sara LeAnn Painter of Tunnel Hill; one brother, James Painter of Chatsworth; grandmothers, Thelma Harrod of Tunnel Hill and Janice Sanders of Chatsworth; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Sharon Kilgore of Dalton; and cousins.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 21 at 1 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Riley officiating. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 22 from 5-9 p.m.
