Bobby Valentine "Sonny" Ramey, 87, of Lafayette, GA and formerly of Trion, GA, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 in the Heritage Healthcare.
Mr. Ramey was born July 7, 1927 in Trion, GA.
Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Grady Ramey and Mattie Faye Hammond Ramey; brother, Grady Ramey; and sister, Kathryn L. Mattis.
Mr. Ramey is survived by nephews, Roger Ramey and Steve Ramey of Rome, GA; nieces, Juanelle Edwards of Carrollton, GA, Faye Gaylor of Trion, GA, and Joy Williams of Chattanooga, TN; and special friends, Mr. and Mrs. John Bartlett of LaFayette, GA.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 27, at 3 p.m. from the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.
Visitation for Mr. Bobby Valentine "Sonny" Ramey will be Saturday, September 27, at Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m.
