Cathy Phillips
Cathy Deborah Reed Phillips, 64 of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, September 27, 2014.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith. Cathy retired from Spring Creek Elementary School in 2001 after 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rozzell S. Phillips; parents, Floyd I. and Thelma Louise Fowler Reed; and siblings, Joann Peoples, Floyd Reed, Sr., Jerel Reed, Sue Cope, Wayne Reed and Hattie Farris.
Cathy is survived by her siblings, Buddy Lee Reed, Gloria Dean Cobb, Joseph Callwell, Larry Lamar Reed, Tammy Renee Reed, Archie Reed and Kimberly Annette Foster; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Allen Horne officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens-East.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and prior to the service on Thursday.
