Alma Gann Bowman died September 29, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was proceeded in death by parents, Fred and Lily Hixson Gann; sister, Lossie Gann Smith; sister, Helen Gann Wilson; brother, Horace Gann and nephew, David Gann.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tom L. Bowman; nieces Tonya Wilson Burleigh, Pam Wilson and Carol Gann Marcum; brother-in-law, Bobby Wilson; sister-in-law, Margaret Bowman, and several great nieces and nephews.
Alma Bowman loved all animals, and was a fancier of the Old English Mastiff breed of dogs.
Private graveside services will be held, and there shall be a memorial service for Mrs. Bowman at a date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Greater Chattanooga.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
