Catoosa County Historical Society Meeting Is September 8

The Catoosa County Historical Society will meet on Monday September 8, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Old Stone Church Museum. Our guest speaker will be

Brad Bennett, the new superintendent of the Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Battlefield. He last assignment was as superintendent at the Andersonville National Historical Site, which includes the  Andersonville National Cemetery and the site of the Andersonville Civil War POW Camp.

He will be speaking about the Andersonville Civil War POW Camp.

The meeting is open to the public. Directions, exit off I-75 at exit 345, go north one mile and the Old Stone Church Museum will be at the intersection of highway 41 and GA highway 2. It is next to the new park.You may also call 706-866-3871 for other information.
