  • Monday, January 26, 2015

Tennessee Wesleyan College and Cleveland State Community College will hold an event to showcase the signing of the new Dual Admissions program between the two colleges.

This agreement will allow students to complete an Associate’s degree at CSCC and be enrolled automatically at TWC for a Bachelor’s degree upon completion of the Associate’s degree.

Dr. Bill Seymour, president of Cleveland State Community College, and Dr. Harley Knowles, president of Tennessee Wesleyan College, will be present at the event on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Sullins Board Room in the Sherman Fine Arts Building.

Tennessee Wesleyan College and Cleveland State Community College are raising awareness of this new groundbreaking program. This program will allow students to enroll at Cleveland State Community College with guaranteed admission to Tennessee Wesleyan College upon graduation from CSCC. Students will complete an Associate’s degree at CSCC, and, upon successful completion of the degree, be enrolled at TWC to complete a Bachelor’s degree.

The colleges will collaborate to provide academic and advisory support to students enrolled in this program. Credits earned at CSCC will transfer to TWC and count towards the student’s declared major.
