  • Wednesday, January 7, 2015

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park announced the waiver of entrance fees to enter Point Park on top of Lookout Mountain, Monday, Jan. 19.

"We invite the public to celebrate Dr. King’s legacy by spending quality time walking through Point Park, while reflecting on his 'I have a Dream' speech, which prominently featured Lookout Mountain," officials said.

All park entrance fees, including commercial tour entrance fees, will be waived. This fee-free Monday provides an opportunity for individuals and families alike to take an affordable day to explore a nearby national treasure.
