Steve Stark Speaks On Intellectual Property Rights At Chattanooga Writers Guild

Steve Stark of Miller & Martin PLLC will be the guest speaker at the Chattanooga Writers Guild on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Downtown Library.  Mr. Stark will speak on intellectual property law with respect to poets, writers and playwrights.

Mr. Stark concentrates his area of practice on patents, trademarks, copyrights and litigation matters. He has prosecuted well over 100 U.S. and foreign patent applications which span a wide landscape of technologies, including various mechanical, electrical, chemical and business method inventions. Much of his patent work has been focused in the carpet, consumer product, packaging, transportation and medical instrument industries. Additionally, he has assisted clients in obtaining and maintaining hundreds of trademark registrations. He has experience negotiating agreements related to technology. He has been involved in the enforcement of clients' intellectual property rights in some situations, as well as defending clients from allegations of misappropriation in other situations.
