Baylor will honor eight members of the school community and memorialize several others during the Headmaster's Awards and Memorial Chapel Service on Sunday as part of the school’s Alumni Weekend festivities.
Rusty Hardin (class of 1960) and Thorpe McKenzie (class of 1965) will be this year's recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award; Geoff Gaberino (class of 1980) and Alexis Probasco will receive the John T. ‘Buddy’ Fisher ’46 Distinguished Service Award; Lee Dyer (class of 1977) will be this year’s Sports Hall of Fame inductee; and Gene Etter, Alice Evans, and Milly Rawlings will receive the Dedicated Faculty Award.
Along with the awards ceremony, alumni that have passed away in the last year as well as members of the Class of 1965 that have died will be memorialized. The service will close with a performance by the Baylor Concert Choir.
