Bryan Loritts
Lee University will host author, speaker, and pastor, Bryan Loritts, in chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 10:40 a.m. in the Conn Center, and in the Walker Lecture Hall, located in the Science and Math Complex, at 2:35 p.m.
“We are excited to host Bryan Loritts, a critical voice for the church and our culture today,” said Dr. Mike Hayes, vice president for student development at Lee. “His messages passionately challenge us to do church in a way that looks more like God’s kingdom.”
A graduate of Caim University and Talbot School of Theology, Mr. Loritts was recently voted one of the top 30 emerging Christian leaders. He currently serves as pastor for preaching and mission at Trinity Grace Church in New York City. He is also the co-founder of Fellowship Memphis, where he served as lead pastor of the church for 11 years, helping to grow the church from 26 people in a living room to several thousand.
Mr. Loritts is president of the Kainos Movement, an organization aimed at establishing the multi-ethnic church in America as the new normal. Loritts has written several books including “God on Paper,” “Right Color, Wrong Culture,” and “A Cross Shaped Gospel” and contributed a chapter to “Letters to a Birmingham Jail.” He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Biola University.
Mr. Loritts and his wife, Korie, have three boys named Quentin, Myles, and Jaden.
Everyone is welcome to attend both services. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
