Wagner, Franklin Junior

Franklin Junior Wagner, 89, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Monday, November, 16, 2015. 

He was of the Holiness faith and has lived in the Rossville area for more than 59 years. Junior proudly served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Navy, receiving multiple medals. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Francis Wagner; sisters, Delma Wooten, Catherine Fowler; and brothers, John Wagner, Elmer Wagner, and Kenneth Wagner.

Junior is survived by his loving wife of more than 69 years, Jewell Wagner, of Rossville; son, Jerry (Marie) Wagner, of Ringgold; grandchildren, Heather Droke, Kristin Wagner; and great-grandchildren, Grace Olson, Hudson Droke. 

The family would like to give special thanks to nieces, Joyce Sharp, Jean Williamson; nephew, Ronald Lee McGill and wife Judy; friend, Ron Reeves, and neighbors, Lois Pierce and sons for the help and kindness  they showed to Junior and Jewell. 

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, at Rock Springs Cemetery, with Ronald Reeves officiating. 

His family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday until time of procession to the cemetery.
