Jeanette Hickey
Jeanette Chandler Hickey, 74, of Hixson, died on Friday, November 20, 2015.
She was of the Baptist faith, and a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School. She was retired from DuPont, and was a member of the DuPont First Responders Fire Brigade and Rescue Squad where she served as equipment truck and ambulance driver. She loved hiking and arrowhead hunting throughout the states of Virginia to Wyoming.
Survivors include her husband, Lamaurice “Marty” Hickey of Hixson; son, Terry Hickey of Riceville; brothers, Harrison Chandler, Roy Chandler; three step grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Donnie Fine officiating. Interment will follow in McGlothen Cemetery on Cagle Mountain. Pallbearers are Kevin Owens, Ed Johnson, Herbie Brown, Wayne Brown, Jimmy Tipton, and James Brown.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, and 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home.
