Blue Of Tennessee Centers Provide Support During Special Enrollment Period

  • Tuesday, February 17, 2015
Individuals who started applying for health coverage but ran into technical difficulties while attempting to enroll in a health plan in the final days before the Feb. 15 deadline can find assistance in completing their application this week at the Blue of Tennessee consumer information centers in Chattanooga or Nashville.

The Blue of Tennessee mobile center will be located in Chattanooga at Northgate Mall, in front of Old Navy, on Feb. 17-22, from 9 a..m.-6 p.m., providing assistance to BlueCross members and others who began the enrollment process but could not complete it due to issues with the federal exchange’s website and call center.
Support is also available through Sunday at the Nashville Blue of Tennessee Center at 100 Oaks, near the theater. Both centers can also assist people who are seeking insurance due to a qualifying event such as marriage, a new baby, a move, loss of other coverage, or another event. The centers offer many services, all delivered by highly trained and bilingual insurance advisers. The last day for extended enrollment is Sunday, Feb. 22.
