Street Cycling 101 - Feb. 23 - Rescheduled
Learn the rules of the road and essential on road bicycling safety at our monthly, free Street Cycling 101class (formerly "Street Smarts"), happening on Mon., Feb.
23, 6 p.m.
 at Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St. in Coolidge Park. People on bicycles can co-exist confidently with people in cars. We'll show you how. The class is free but reservations are required. Email Outdoor Chattanooga or call (423) 643-6888 to make your reservation.

Ride with GPS Tutorial with the Chattanooga Bike Club - Feb. 25
The public is invited to join the Chattanooga Bicycle Club for a free tutorial on how to use the Ride with GPS Internet app on Wed., Feb. 25, 6 p.m. at Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St. in Coolidge Park. Ride with GPS gives cyclists and group ride leaders the tools to plan, map and share routes with other cyclists. It can also serve as a training and fitness tool when integrated with a Garmin GPS and/or bike computer. No reservations are necessary. Email Outdoor Chattanooga or call (423) 643-6888 to learn more.
Ease into Yoga - Joyfully Hike, Bike, Climb and Run - Mar. 5-26

Purna Yoga instructor Jayne Cagle will continue her Ease Into Yoga classes with a series in March that focuses on strengthening and stretching hip and back muscles that we use for hiking, bicycling, climbing and running. The series is open to anyone interested in trying the practice of yoga. Cost is $48 for four classes. Preregistration is required. Beginners are welcome. Winter Workshop: How to Poop in the Woods Feb. 26 
Leave no Trace Master Educator Terri Chapin will offer practical advice about dealing with private necessities in the woods at our next freeWinter Workshop: How to Poop in the Woods, happening on Thurs., Feb. 26, 6:30 p.m. at Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St. in Coolidge Park. Get frank information on how to pack in and pack out in various wilderness environments. Poopers of all ages are welcome.

Glen Falls Trail Re-Opens
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park announced last week that Lookout Mtn.'s Glen Falls trail has re-opened to the public. The trail was closed in Oct., 2014 because of a mud slide. 

Southeast Conservation Corps JOBS
The Southeast Conservation Corps is accepting applications for enthusiastic high school students ages 16-18 and young adults ages 18-25, to work on their youth conservation and Americorps conservation crews this summer. Positions are open for in town and camping crews that will work on regional trail building and conservation projects. To learn more, call Brenna Kelly at (423) 718-3467.
