Guyton, Ora Mae Roberson (South Pittsburg)

Ora Mae Roberson Guyton, 90, of South Pittsburg, Tn., passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 with her family at her side. 

The daughter of the late Walter Lee Roberson, Sr., and Nettie Myers Roberson, she was a member of and a Sundayschool teacher at Wesley United Methodist Church in South Pittsburg for many years. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Guyton; daughter, Nancye Smith; sisters, Bertha Collins and Ruby Alton.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Donna (Tommy) Lawson of Bridgeport, AL, Mike Gonce of South Pittsburg, TN and Deena (Jere) Brown of Kimball, TN; great-grandchildren, Kyle (Cheryl) Lawson of Nashville, TN, Tiffany and Jake Brown of Kimball; sisters, Elizabeth Peacock of Sequatchie, TN, Virginia Wiley of Atlanta, GA and Dorothy Pickett of Powells Crossroads, TN; brothers, Walter Roberson, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Jim Roberson of Jasper, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from Wesley United Methodist Church on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 1 p.m. Central time with Rev. Joe Moore officiating.  Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 11–1 at the church.
