William “Bill” R. Randolph, 81, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at a Chattanooga health care facility.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Bill retired from Bowater. He was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ and also attended Westwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Madison and Mary “Hassie” Hamilton Randolph; and his siblings, Herbert Randolph, Olin Randolph, Nina Randolph, Lena Gold, James Randolph, Luther Randolph, Joe Randolph, Martha Stinnett and Pauline Worrell.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Lewis Roark Randolph; three daughters, Debbie Randolph Croft and husband, David of Ooltewah, Sherry Randolph Rettig and husband, Robert of McKinney, TX and Donna Randolph Young and husband, David of Cleveland; two step-children, Eilene Roark Rushing and husband, Keith of McDonald and Geary Roark of Palm Desert, CA; grandchildren, James Rettig of TX, Melissa Palmer and John Young and wife, Cassie, all of GA, Holly Young of Cleveland, Jim Rushing of McDonald, Mary Roark of Palm Desert, CA and Lanee Hooper and husband, Jackie of Trussville, AL; sister, Margaret Randolph Wimpee; and nieces, Linda, Nancy and Patricia.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Caywood and Minister Steven Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery with military honors. Jim Randolph, Chris Haynes, Jackie Brewer, Rick Elliott, Franklin Albritton and Kenneth Roark will serve as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 1-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 7 at the Fike Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
