LBMC Investment Advisors announced the naming of Derek Bland as Partner.
Mr. Bland has over 10 years’ experience in public accounting and financial advisory services. He joined LBMC Investment Advisors in 2008 and has been instrumental in the growth of the company in his role as an Investment Advisor. Mr. Bland has obtained the CPA (Certified Public Accountant), PFS (Personal Financial Specialist), and CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designations. He regularly works with clients in the areas of investment strategy development, asset allocation planning, integration of investments with tax planning, and in-depth portfolio analyses.

Mr. Bland is an active member in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Nashville Young Leaders Council and serves on the YMCA of Brentwood Board of Directors.
Mr. Bland is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and majored in Accounting.
He currently resides in Brentwood with his wife, Anna Clare, and three children (Hayes, Charlie, and Marianna.)
