James E. Pratt III Named 2015 President Of The Home Builder’s Association Of Greater Chattanooga

The Home Builder’s Association of Greater Chattanooga (HBAGC) named James E. Pratt III of Pratt Home Builders as its 2015 president.

Mr. Pratt will oversee the establishment of goals and objectives for the HBAGC organization and act as a liaison between local, state and national leadership while supporting and defending policies and programs adopted by the membership, Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Additionally, he will act as spokesperson for the HBAGC to the press, the public, legislative bodies and related organizations.

Pratt has been a member of the local HBAGC and National Home Builder’s Association (NAHB) since 2000 and has found his involvement with both the local and national associations have greatly contributed to his success, being locally and nationally recognized as one of the top home builder’s in the country.

The vision of the HBAGC and NAHB is to recognize housing and housing providers as the strength of America and create an environment where every American has the opportunity for a safe, decent and affordable home in a suitable living environment provided by an entrepreneurial and competitive industry.

Mr. Pratt is married to his wife Lucy and resides on Signal Mountain with their children. He is a graduate of the Baylor School and the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
