An official ribbon cutting for the Grand Opening Celebration for Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford was held.
Nearly 400 turned out for the big event including state, city and county leaders, in spite of winter storm warnings and school closings. A formal program, music, incredible food and walking tours of the assisted living community were all part of the celebration that ended in song with the Morning Pointe Quartet performing Amazing Grace.
Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford Assisted Living is at 7719 Shallowford Road, just across the street from the newly-renovated Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence.
