Soddy-Daisy’s Lady Trojans built 3-0 lead and went on to beat East Hamilton’s Lady Hurricanes, 4-2, Monday in District 5-AAA high school softball action at Clifford Kirk Field.
Emily Edwards was the winning pitcher. She gave up eight hits, struck out three and walked two while going the distance.
Tori Barnes, who worked six innings while yielding four runs, striking out one and walking two.
Brie Levy went 2-for-2 – both singles – for the Lady Hurricanes.
