She was born in Walker County to the late Paul M. and Bertha Lou Parker Campbell. She was a former resident of Eureka, CA and Bradenton, FL. She was a former employee with Tropicana and had also worked as registered nurse in Bradenton. She enjoyed making crafts and working in her yard planting flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a Jehovah's Witness and a member of the Kingdom Hall in LaFayette.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Singleterry, and Richard Lang, daughter, Karen Singleterry, and sister, Barbara Bates.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Frost of Wynne, AR, Sharon Campbell of Trion, GA, JoAnn Simpson of Welburn, FL, brothers, William Campbell of Gailsville, AL, Glen Campbell of Trion, GA, Harlan Campbell of Gadsden, AL, grandchildren, Jarm Turner of Burlington, NC, Jackie Frost of Wynn, AR, Joey Rayburn of Littleton, CO, Brian Frost of Jonesboro, AR, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at the Kingdom Hall in LaFayette with David Dixon and Jaxon Clark officiating.
