  • Wednesday, March 25, 2015

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team has added Tennessee transfer Justin King to its 2015 recruiting class, head coach Russ Huesman announced Wednesday.  King is a linebacker from Dunwoody, Ga., who has two years of eligibility remaining.

King played in 13 games for the Volunteers in 2014.  He is a former three-star prep prospect from Dunwoody High School.  He started his career at Tennessee in 2012 as a backup fullback and wildcat quarterback, seeing action in eight games as a true freshman.  He redshirted the 2013 season.

“We are excited to add Justin King to this class,” stated coach Huesman.  “He is excited to join the program and we expect him to fit a need for us on defense.”

King is currently enrolled at Tennessee for the spring semester and will join the Mocs in the fall.

He gives UTC three former Vols on the roster, including juniors Nikolay Timoshchuk and Drae Bowles.
