Hughes, Margaret Ann Arthur (Cleveland)

Margaret Ann Arthur Hughes, 61, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her residence.  

She was a member of Cookson Creek Baptist Church in Ocoee, TN, and had been a dedicated employee of Hardwick Clothes.  She loved playing the piano, cooking, and fishing. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Coach Arthur and Dorothy Lea Casson Arthur; and one granddaughter, Morgan Breonna Duckett. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Billy Ray Hughes; three children, Kimberly Duckett and husband Jerry of Harrison, TN, Stanley Craig “Mike” Hughes and wife Lisa of Cleveland, and Stacey Hughes Flowers and husband Jim of Cleveland; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Arthur and wife Becky of Old Fort, TN; lifelong friends, Betty Jo Hudson and the Hudson family; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Woody officiating.  Interment will follow at Cookson Creek Cemetery in Ocoee, TN, with Steven Arthur, Brent Arthur, James Morrow, Dallas Hughes, Landon Duckett and David Caldwell serving as pallbearers.   Jim Flowers will serve as honorary pallbearer.   A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.  

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
