Chattanooga Music Club Installs Officers, Has Scholarship Recital Sunday

The Chattanooga Music Club annual scholarship recital, installation of officers and tea will be Sunday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  

The program will begin with the installation of officers at 2 p.m.  Maestro Bob Bernhardt, CSO music director emeritus and principal pops conductor, will speak and install the 2015-2016 officers.  The recital featuring 2015 CMC scholarship recipients and tea will follow.  

The 2015-2016 officers are: President – Linda Thompson, 1st Vice President – Margaret Ann Randolph, 2nd Vice President – Buddy Shirk, 3rd Vice President – Gary Helton, 4th Vice President – Charlynne Fry, Recording Secretary – Pamper Garner Crangle, Corresponding Secretary – Lounelle Draper, Treasurer – Ralph Altman, Historian – Mary Ellen Meloan and Parliamentarian – Susan Clark. 

The scholarship recipients are: Chattanooga Music Club Scholarship – Angela Baucom, Viola; 
Dr. Hilda and Andres Alisago Jr. Scholarship – Seth Hall, French Horn; Opal Rhea Swaity Scholarship – Patrick Rice, Piano; Dorothy Cobb Martin Memorial Scholarship – Jacob Martin, Piano; Autumn Hindman, Piano; Fletcher Bright String Scholarship – Eric Cullins, Violin; Jay Craven Clarinet Scholarship – Monte Coulter IV, Clarinet; and Admiral Vance and Mrs. Charlynne Fry Merit Scholarship – Monte Coulter IV, Clarinet.
