James Leonard “Hawk” Wolfe, 86, died on Sunday, April 19, 2015.

He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Harrison Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Emma Hilbert Wolfe.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Wolfe; son, Kevin (Charla) Wolfe; daughters, Jennifer Wolfe and Robin Wolfe, all of Chattanooga; brother, Thurman (JoAnn) Wolfe of Fort Oglethorpe; sisters, Louise Wolfe of Chattanooga and Shirley (Joseph) Trotter of Dunlap; grandchildren, Kristen, Casey, Skyler and Brody Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 22, from 4-8 p.m. at the Highway 58 chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
