Herschel Candler Herbert Jr., 75, of LaFayette, GA, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 in a local Health Care.
He was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections, and was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors are his children, Ronald Alan Robbs, Michael Herbert, Warren Herbert, Wony Herbert, Simona Herbert, Simone’ Herbert and Simeon Herbert; sister, Classie Mae Madison; two step-sisters, Shirley Green and Charlotte (Joe) Robinson; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 25, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Payne officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Saturday, April 25.
