Steven Childress
Steven "Chop" Childress, 43, of Altamont, Tennessee, and formerly of Dunlap, died on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at his home.
He was a member of Altamont Baptist Church. He was a foreman for Dunlap Water System for over 20 years and an avid hunter and loved being in the woods.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenny and Lucille Smith; paternal grandparents, William and Minnie Ann Childress.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Fults Childress; sons, Jacob Hunter Childress, Garrett Camp, and Levi Camp; father and mother, Luther Gene and Martha Childress; sister, Tracy Smith; two nieces, Raven Smith and Heather Fults; nephew, Tyler Fults; father and mother-in-law, Ruben and Gloriajean Fults, Beersheba Springs, TN; brother-in-law, Vincent Fults, Beersheba Springs, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, at 2 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Brother Micah Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Altamont Cemetery.
