Robotics Showcase To Be Held Wednesday At TVA’s Chattanooga Office Complex

  • Monday, May 11, 2015

The TVA Partners in Education Schools Robotics Showcase will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the TVA Chattanooga Office Complex, 11th and Market Streets.

For the eighth year, student teams from more than 20 local elementary, middle and high schools will showcase their technical skills and creativity through a series of challenges with robots of their own design. Their efforts are supported by the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Partners in Education program, which promotes science, technology, mathematics and engineering instruction in area schools. TVA executives, engineers and technical personnel will judge this event.

Those planning to attend must receive necessary credentials from the TVA security desk located in TVA’s Missionary Ridge building at the corner of Market and 11th Streets.  Arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. to ensure adequate time to be in position for the beginning of the event.  RSVPs are encouraged to Kristine Cooper, klshattuckcooper@tva.gov
