5th Annual EMS Week Bass Tournament Held At Chester Frost Park

The 5th Annual EMS Week Bass tournament is set for Monday at Chester Frost Park.

Blast off is at 7:30 a.m. and weigh in will be at 4 p.m.

Currently, there are 84 fishermen that have registered in search of the biggest bass in Chickamauga Lake!.

Those participating are paramedics, police officers and firefighters from Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.

Competitors will be going after the best of five fish and the largest bass.

The money raised from the event will  go towards the Forgotten Child Fund and the Paramedic Scholarship Fund.

Last year, the EMS Week Bass Tournament raised $2,500 for local charities. The goal is to raise more this year.

The EMS Week Bass Tournament sponsors are Erlanger Medical Center, Lifeforce, Parkridge, Chattanooga Emergency Medicine, Memorial Hospital, Tennessee Valley Credit Union, Chattanooga Bass Association, Lifeguard Ambulance, Angel EMS, Rhea County EMS, Puckett EMS, Allstate Insurance, Burger King, Marion Environmental, Floyd's Hardware, Zaxby's, Little Debbie, Chattanooga Coca-Cola, Tow Boat USA, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bass Assassins and Don Maxwell.
