Memorial Salute For Officer Justin Maples Is Wednesday

Wednesday marks the third year anniversary of the line of duty death of Cleveland Police Officer Justin D. Maples, 35.  Area law enforcement agencies, along with the community will recognize this solemn day beside the Maples family and the Cleveland Police Department.  

The Cleveland Police Department Honor Guard will march south, memorial wreath carried, from the front of the Police Services Center, at 100 Church St. N.E., to Inman Street where the Honor Guard will turn eastbound, on Wednesday at 9 a.m.  The CPD Honor Guard will then proceed east towards the memorial wall, which is situated on the south side of the Bradley County Fire and Rescue building.  

Participants are asked to line Inman Street in honor of Officer Maples.

When the Honor Guard arrives at the memorial wall, a salute will be given after a moment of silence. The event will conclude by 9:30 a.m.
