Paul Davis
Paul Dean Davis, 84, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at his home.
He was the son of the late Hershel and Georgia Davis and was preceded in death by his son, Randal Gordon Davis.
Paul was a retired colonel with the United States Air Force. He was a recipient of both the Legion of Merit and Meritorious Service medals. Paul also served as a pastor in both Louisiana and Tennessee for the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Charlotte Ann Davis, of Ooltewah, three children, Paula Davis, of Ooltewah, Rodger Davis, of Charlotte, NC, Matthew (Dawn) Davis, of McDonald, TN, five grandchildren, Katlynn Davis, Misty Rose, Patrick Rose, Aaron Rose, Laura Ann Davis, two sisters, Martha Jean Wagner, Norita Crowell, both of Manila, AR, and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military rites being conducted.
The family will receive friends from 12–2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at the funeral home.
